LUNGOL WEKINA

Lungol Wekina is a writer, performer, and artist living on  stolen Bidjigal land. His portfolio includes poetry, prose, short stories, and essays. Wekina’s work centres his Indigenous, Black, and queer identities and is primarily about mental health, social issues, and environmental justice.
Outside of poetry and performance, Wekina has been a speaker and a panelist at events centred around the queer experience, indigenous issues, racial equality, and climate justice.
