SARAH LOCK

Sarah Lock is a poet, artist, mentor and facilitator living in Northern Rivers, NSW. She was an Australian Poetry Slam Finalist, NSW Poetry Slam champion and Byron Bay Poetry Slam champion in 2022. Sarah’s energetic poems are born of her belief in the power of words. She takes pleasure in crafting seemingly mundane or challenging issues into intriguing while entertaining works of art. Her poems are known for the rhythmic use of rhyme, wordplay and the exploration of themes such as oppression, overcoming, adversity and unity. Sarah is looking forward to releasing a collection of her poetry in the coming months.
